| | Comments | Moleskines journals are not cheap--Wal-Mart offers a leatherbound version of the large journal for less than Moleskines Oilskin version--but the journals and cahiers are nonetheless a joy to use. They hold ink well, and seem to invite the holder to write something--anything--even if you cant think of anything to say at the moment. The classic version (the one used by Hemingway to scribble notes) is the perfect size for a pants pocket. As a self-professed technoweenie, I carry around a lot of electronic gadgets, but there is something viscerally pleasing about writing in one of these journals. Moleskines shipping, even via USPS, was very quick, and the service was great and easy to use. Great job overall. If I had one request, it would be to be able to buy these books in bulk at a larger discount than what they currently offer. |
